Mobinnet as the only national WiMAX operator in Iran announced the number of its WiMAX subscribers in the 3rd international conference of e-Banking in Tehran, Iran on Monday, August 10, 2009. Fariborz Nejad Dadgar, Mobinnet VP and COO, announced they will have at least 600 thousand subscribers in 6 years and this would be the least estimated for the Iranian market while according to its business plan announced in December 2008, this number was 480 thousand subscribers. The question is where this change originates from as the market demand hasn't shown much change during this period.
